Can anyone help me with X-mas for my 12yr. Son?

Hello Everyone I am a single parent of One child. and this is the worst year ever for me and my son. I’m usually on the other side meaning I usually give to those who are in need. I was laid of recently Nov 17 to be exact. Between trying to hang on to the things we really need like house, car, lights, gas there is no room for X-mas. my son is 12yrs old and Im sure he’ll understand that we don’t have it but I don’t want to give up that easy. It takes a lot to ask for help. If I Could get asst from any one out there for a gift card to like Best buy, Or Walmart or T-maxx or anywhere for that matter it would deeply appreciate. He really wants a game boy or a cell phone but so that’s why I ask for the card so if you could or if you can help with anything it would help us out.He were’s size medium men shirt size 20 pants and size 8 shoe. Or if your hiring in the area of Rockford IL.I’ll take the job please listen to are prayers I can be contacted at teshau1@yahoo.com Thank you

You can contact a local church and ask if it is too late for the angel tree program. Put both of you on it. If you have a St. Vincent De Paul society in the phone book, give them a call. The churches love to reach out into the community at Christmas so give them a call. The secretary will answer and direct you where you need to go. I did this for two years in a row and was blessed beyond my wildest dreams. One person put 50 dollars in a card for me and told me to buy myself something knowing full well that I wasn’t planning on it. I received gift card for groceries, food, stores, etc. You may not get a cell phone (which in my opinion is a bad gift for a 14 yr old unless it is a pay as you go), but he will have gifts.
You are in my prayers.

can you have a tooth that’s abcess extracted safely?

Hello is it ok to get a abcessed tooth pulled after being on the antibiotics for only 4 days. the dentist said it had a good size abcess on it and that it had to come out in 4 days to be sure i was there. i have always been told you need 14 days of antibiotics before attemp to pull a tooth, so is this safe or do i need to seek another dentist, everyone is telling me not to do it right now. the pain is awfull monday is the day it comes out i will be glad to get rid of it. but everyone making me nervous cause he is pulling it with a abcess on it, my whole face is sore, and my eye is swollen. so do i go for it or suffer another week, which this dentist stated cant wait got to get this one out soon. i heard him tell his asst. that what is he not telling me and whats the rush,

Dentists who simply give out antibiotics and ask patients to return days later are risking your health, and probably only doing it for their own convenience so they can book you in at a better time. If you had an infected splinter, would you take antibiotics for 14 days before pulling it out? This is the incorrect use of antibiotics.
There is no sound reason why the tooth SHOULD NOT be removed ASAP. But there are 3 good reasons why it SHOULD be removed ASAP:
1. Increasing resistance of antibiotics. As you are unfortunately finding out, things can get worse, even with large doses of antibiotics.
2. Anaesthesia becomes more difficult as the abscess enlarges. The dentist has to resort to more difficult blocks rather than simpler infiltrations. Even so, you may feel some discomfort.
3. As the abscess enlarges, you may find opening your mouth to be increasingly difficult. And if you can’t open your mouth, then how is the dentist to get in there?
The 3 “D’s” when dealing with abscesses are Diagnosis, Dental treatment, and Drugs – in that order. Get it out ASAP. Find a dentist who will do this, and not fob you off, or you might end up in hospital.
